Turn on JavaScript to go through the checks one step at a time. Here they are as a list:
Is the internet working?
Open any website. If it won’t load, the problem is the connection, not the email.
Check the Outbox
If messages are sitting in the Outbox, they haven’t gone. Open them and try sending again.
Is the attachment large?
Most mail services reject attachments above roughly 20–25 MB. Try without the file, or send a link to it instead.
Try in the browser
Sign in to your mailbox in a browser, for example gmail.com, outlook.com or the address your administrator gave you. If it works there, the problem is the program or app.
Close and reopen the program
Fully close the email program or app and open it again. If that doesn’t help, restart the device.
Check Spam and the other folders
Messages sometimes land in Spam, Junk or Promotions. Search for the sender’s name.
Free up space in the mailbox
When a mailbox is full, new messages don’t arrive. Archive or delete old messages with large attachments. If you are not sure what can go, leave it to us.
Check Caps Lock
Passwords are case-sensitive. Make sure Caps Lock is off.
Check the keyboard language
If the keyboard is set to Cyrillic, your password is typed as different characters. Switch to Latin, usually with Alt + Shift or Windows + Space, and try again.
Try signing in through the browser
If you can sign in through the browser but not in the program, the password saved in the program needs updating. If the browser doesn’t work either, the password may have changed or the account may be locked.
Don’t send your password to anyone
Not by email, chat or form, and that includes us. If it needs changing, we will do it together, safely.
Don’t open anything in the email
Don’t click links, don’t open attachments and don’t reply. Typical signs of a scam: urgent threats (“your account will be suspended”), an odd sender address, a request for a password or a payment.
